I've tried baking soda and aluminum to detarnish silver. I've done it with mp's and a whole horn. What I keep encountering is it works up to a point. There are always certain stubborn spots and also hit and miss results on the engraving on the bell. Using a fresh piece of aluminum budges the stubborn spots a little.Anyone have insights on how to improve this? This guy says never use salt though some videos include salt.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
